The Inclusive Dance Workshop is a weekly Wednesday gathering of movers of all kinds. Each session, different facilitators and guest artists lead the group through an exploration of dancemaking tools, dance techniques, and improvisational exercises, from ballet to improvisation to voguing. All bodies, minds and experience levels are welcome.
We meet weekly on Wednesdays from 6:30 pm - 8 pm central, beginning Wednesday, September 28th. Regular classes conclude on December 7th. There will be no workshop on November 23rd. All Wednesday workshops in the fall will be held remotely via Zoom. Registration is encouraged.
AI captioning will be available for all virtual workshops. Due to the high demand for ASL interpretation during the pandemic, we will do our best to fill requests for ASL Interpretation. We kindly ask you send us your request at least 3 weeks in advance by emailing bbendtsen@accessliving.org.
This event is brought to you by the Arts and Culture Project at Access Living, an independent living center for people with disabilities, Bodies of Work: Network of Disability Art and Culture and Shirley Ryan Ability Lab.
